Sign and Display Print Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Print Operator to join our team in our Sign and Display department.

One of Yorkshire’s premier marketing, design, print, sign and direct mail companies, Platinum Print offer a unique range of integrated business products and services that cannot be matched locally and have a strong focus on customer care and trading relationships.

Having experience in the print, sign and display industry is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided if necessary. The right candidate will also have an eye for detail, work to a high standard of quality and be able to work to timescales.

Key responsibilities:

· To operate large format hybrid printers and flatbed cnc cutters along with other sign and display equipment

· To understand job sheet instructions accurately and work in a timely manner

· Liaise with fitters and other departments to make sure the job specification is met

· Monitor the quality of the products, make improvements where possible and ensure deadlines are met

Qualities we are looking for:

· Knowledge of sign and display print and finishing techniques beneficial but not essential

· Excellent eye for detail

· Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively

· Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious team member

Experienced Litho Print Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litho Print Operator to join our team.

One of Yorkshire’s premier marketing, design, print, signage and direct mail companies, Platinum Print offer a unique range of integrated business products and services that cannot be matched locally and have a strong focus on customer care and trading relationships.

With litho print experience a necessity, the right candidate will have an eye for detail, work to a high standard of quality and be able to work to timescales. Komori experience is preferable but not essential as training will be given.

Key responsibilities:

· Running our Komori B2 print machine efficiently and to the highest possible standard

· Managing the workload to maximise uptime

· Keeping the machine well maintained and work area clean and tidy

· Able to provide additional support to other departments, such as finishing and despatch, as required

Qualities we are looking for:

· Excellent eye for detail

· Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively

· Knowledge of print production practices and processes

· Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious team member

Apprentice Large Format Digital Print Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Print Operator to join our team in our Sign and Display department. You will develop a broad understanding of Digital Large Format Print and finishing in our production department. Working across all equipment the apprentice will be involved in printing jobs, cutting and assembling jobs.

Duties will include:

To operate large format hybrid printers and flatbed CNC cutters along with other sign and display equipment

There will be also opportunities to develop other print and finishing skills in our Litho, Digital and Mailing Departments
