Here’s to a prosperous 2023.
I think we can finally say that Covid is behind us, and whilst 2023 isn’t going to be an easy one, with ever-increasing energy costs and ongoing uncertainty, we are feeling positive about what 2023 will bring.
In our update last year, we mentioned the latest investment in our HP Indigo Digital Press, we are pleased to say this was the right move for Platinum, it’s a brilliant machine and has expanded our capabilities in packaging, short run books and high levels of personalisation.
Our most recent investment in 2022 was our new ‘Moll’ box making machine. We can’t pretend it didn’t come with some teething issues, but it’s now flying through work and has been a game-changer for us in terms of speed, efficiency, and further expanding our finishing capabilities in-house.
We also achieved our latest environmental goal, becoming one of just a handful of Carbon Balanced Printers, working closely with The World Land Trust, offsetting carbon we currently cannot eradicate.
Other projects which are ongoing include expanding our digital cutting and binding machines, continuing our investment in high levels of automation and improving our workflows and efficiencies. Our aim is to help alleviate cost and time pressures and enhance service levels to our customers.
Innovation, diversification, and continuous improvement will remain key features in the coming years, allowing us to stay ahead of the game and offer our customers unrivalled quality and service.
We had a big recruitment drive in 2022 and have added some fantastic members to our team to enable us to reach our growth plans for the next 12 months. We feel very fortunate to have such a conscientious team who reflect our values and ambition.
None of this could have been achieved without the support and loyalty of our amazing customers, suppliers and engineers. We hope that 2023 is a prosperous one for everyone and we’re here to help wherever possible.
Best Wishes and Thank You,
David, Marina, Anthony and Samantha
