With a strong heritage and widespread popularity, many of these products are manufactured locally in Yorkshire, where HARIBO operates production sites in Pontefract and Castleford.
Globally, HARIBO produces its much-loved confectionery across 16 manufacturing sites, supplying over 120 countries. The company was originally founded in Germany, by Hans Riegel Sr., and has since grown into one of the most recognisable names in sweets worldwide.

The Challenge
Having partnered with HARIBO on a variety of successful projects in the past, we were delighted to be approached once again, this time to develop an event kit celebrating MAOAM’s 25th anniversary.
The brief required a versatile solution that could be used across both Head Office events and future trade shows. Key considerations included portability, ease of assembly, and the ability to re-skin elements for different campaigns and occasions.
Additionally, the kit needed to be adaptable to a range of event spaces, from smaller internal setups to larger exhibition environments.
The Solution
Following an initial written brief, we held a Teams call and hosted HARIBO at our Platinum HQ to further explore ideas. During this session, we presented a range of exhibition stand options, helping the team visualise scale, layout, and overall impact.
We recommended a modular approach, allowing components to be added or removed depending on the available space, ensuring flexibility across all event types.
To deliver a bold and engaging presence, we designed a striking exhibition setup featuring a large curved Contesta banner as the main backdrop, complemented by an additional roller banner for larger spaces. Their design team created the striking visuals, ensuring a vibrant and eye-catching finish across all elements.
A Contesta pop-up counter provided practical space for product giveaways, supported by branded dump bins for storage and display.
To maximise promotional impact and audience interaction, the setup was completed with stacker boxes for additional branding opportunities and a spin-to-win wheel, creating a fun, engaging experience that drew in visitors and encouraged participation.
