TPT Retirement Solutions
The Customer
TPT Retirement Solutions (TPT) is one of the UK’s leading providers of workplace pensions with over 75 years’ experience of managing defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes. It has £11.1 billion of assets under management (as at 30 September 2024) and more than 470,000 members.
TPT’s mission is to make pension schemes perform better for everyone, from the sponsoring employers and trustees to the members who are saving for the future. It is an innovative, forward-thinking organisation, investing in technology to improve the services they provide. TPT is ultimately owned by a pension fund, providing genuine alignment of interests with those of its clients and scheme members.
The Challenge
TPT required a reliable and flexible print solution to support their organisation with consistent, high-quality branded materials. With a limited internal storage facility, they needed a system that would allow them to order print on demand while maintaining strict brand control.
In addition, TPT wanted the ability for internal teams to make simple updates to items such as business cards and stationery, such as name, job title, or contact details, without the need for costly design changes or delays.
The Solution
Using Platinum’s Web2Print portal, this gave the TPT team a simple and controlled way to order branded print materials as and when required. Pre-approved templates ensure that all stationery, brochures, and collateral remain fully on brand, while still allowing authorised users to make approved text and detail amendments themselves. This enables quick updates to business cards and similar items without any additional design costs or external artwork support.
The portal also provides full visibility of order history, making repeat ordering fast and efficient while reducing administrative time.
To resolve the storage challenge, TPT utilises Platinum’s in-house storage and fulfilment service. Platinum manages inventory and distributes printed materials as needed, removing the requirement for internal storage and ensuring items are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
