What is your role at Platinum and what does your day-to-day look like?
As an Account Manager my job consists of making sure clients get the best we can achieve by keeping on the ball + always offering the best advice.
How long have you been working in this industry, and what drew you to it?
I’ve been in the industry for 35 years – completely by chance. After leaving the FMCG sector I unexpectedly found myself in print account management, as the rest as they say is history.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Helping people take the fractions and glean the most out of all aspects of print.
What skills or qualities do you think are essential for success in your role?
Resilience, realism with a little vision tucked between the pages.
What’s your favourite way to spend your free time?
Golf, racing and dinner with my wife Eloise.
What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I met Renne Zellweger and Patrick Swayze in the same day.
Do you have a favourite travel destination or a dream place you’d like to visit?
Fav destination = Corsica. Dream destination = Iguazu + Rio for the carnival.
If you weren’t in this profession, what would you be doing?
Racing manager to someone wealthy.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you bring?
Surf board, surfeit of Italian food and Rachel Weisz.
