Meet the team – Emma Cook

1. What is your role at Platinum and what does your day-to-day look like?
I am the Marketing Executive here at Platinum and some of my daily activities involve producing marketing collateral, updating the website, keeping our social channels active and making sure that the Platinum website is visible in the search engines.

2. How long have you been working in this industry, and what drew you to it?
I have always been involved in print, having worked with several Leeds agencies throughout my career. However, I have been working directly in a printing company for the past two years.

3. What do you enjoy most about your job?
Results, I am overjoyed when we gain a new client through marketing activities. It makes it all worthwhile.

4. What skills or qualities do you think are essential for success in your role?
An attention to detail is a must, and the ability to communicate well through the written message.

5. What’s your favourite way to spend your free time?
Riding my horse and weekends away in the campervan.

5. What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I love a game of bingo, if we go away I will always hunt out a place for a game!

6. Do you have a favourite travel destination or a dream place you’d like to visit?
I would love to go on a safari on horse back.

7. If you weren’t in this profession, what would you be doing?
I would love to have been a vet.

8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you bring?
My dog, a fishing rod and a radio.
