Platinum is proud to announce a major investment in our production capabilities this November, with the introduction of two state-of-the-art systems: the Horizon Stitchliner Mark IV and the Bacciottini Pitstop OXO Multi-Skill high-speed creaser and folder. This quarter-of-a-million-pound investment underlines our commitment to innovation, efficiency, and delivering high-quality, sustainable print solutions for our clients.
The Horizon Stitchliner Mark IV represents a significant upgrade to our digital finishing capabilities. Designed to handle the evolving demands of our clients, it allows us to produce A4 landscape booklets up to 72 pages more quickly and efficiently than ever before. The system’s enhanced automation and capacity mean faster turnaround times, improved cost-effectiveness, and consistently reliable quality, strengthening our on-demand, short-run workflow.
Alongside this, the Bacciottini Pitstop OXO creaser and folder brings a step-change in speed and efficiency to our finishing processes. Capable of handling stocks up to 400gsm and running at up to 9,000 sheets per hour, it combines creasing, perforating, and folding in a single pass. With its intuitive automation and quick setup, the Pitstop maximises productivity while ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish for every job.
